We were visiting Canberra from Sydney and found this place and had a yummy dinner and then breakfast the following day. Great food, comprehensive menu and excellent service.

Caphs is a sacred institution. Solid breakfast food in great portions and high quality food.
Great toasted ham,cheese,tomato, avocado toastie, fresh filling and lots of it great fresh crisp chippies served from friendly happy helpful staff. Great place for a quick bite and drink after work watching the passing people in manuka.
The coffee and milkshakes were really good and they have a nice atmosphere.
Always extremely good as evidenced by the crowd on a Wednesday night. Good staff, good simple food without pretension. Excellent.
Food excellent and service also excellent! However one unruly customer was allowed to behave in a manner which upset some customers and ruined their dining experience! He was obviously high on something and was playing music on his phone and dancing around the floor.This went on for about an hour and the junior staff did not intervene.Everyone was greatly relieved when he decided to leave. Message to the owner you need a senior person on site when your not around who will ask unruly customers to behave or leave!
We ordered steak, burgers ,fettuccine and drinks very good quality of food and drinks..highly recommended only improvement I can suggest is that the tables were not so stable outside would be good to fix them firm to the ground
