If you have loved ones, take them elsewhere. There is ZERO compassion and humility left in this hospital. This is terrible, my grandfather was admitted to the hospital, fighting for his life and his family can’t even see him. No visitors, no bedside manner or professionalism. And don’t bother calling because no one will answer, only an automated message that has more sympathy than these people. Google, if you ever want to test out a zero star rating, make RWJ your first candidate.

Being myself a hospital employee with an almost 20 years experience in the field, I can only find positive words for my own post-surgical experience. My RNs, Chantal, Andrea and Christina provided exemplary patient care. Every branch and department, from housekeeping to dietary services to transport/escort staff went above and beyond to provide comfort and smooth post-op care. The quality of food, even though supplied by the same Sodexo Corp, a food purveyor of almost every hospital in the area and Philadelphia, the quality and the choices were very good; the dietary services apparently added their own personal touch to the menu and preparation. Great experience indeed.

This was my first experience at the Robert wood Johnson Hamilton Hospital. I went for my very first COVID-19 vaccination shot and I was greatly impressed with the staff and all of the logistics involved. I received frequent text messages and emails reminding me about the date of my appointment and when I arrived a young woman took my name and appointment time encouraged me to wait in the car until she came to tell me that I could go inside. Once inside, everything was as smooth as silk. The intake people were extremely helpful and courteous, as were the people who gave me the vaccination shot. Lastly the people in the observation room following my shot were just as cheerful courteous and professional as everyone I met there. I can’t say enough about how pleasant my experience was.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to review this hospital. The nurse and nurse practioners were great. Unfortunately the human caring was not there. The communication was horrible. No one let my husband know where I was . I FINALLY CALLED HIM after 8 hrs, after I kept begging for a phone. My belongings were locked up. Testwas not ordered. Food and drink were not given for 8 hrs.Never given a final result. Hospital never followed up.

This is my second review, i deleted my first one so i could post a new review of this low rate facility and if that means I may never be a \local guide\ so be it, but this place just has to be told on. The staff is arrogant, uncaring, and extremely rude! We did meet one nice nurse in our journey but that didn't outweigh the nasty teenager who initially greated us at the desk or the subsequent PA (physician assiant) who treateated us afterwards who had a huge attitude! The nurses are the ones with the monster attitudes though, like their above it all and we're a total inconvenience in their day. I caught them chatting every time I looked for the hold up. After waiting for 3 hours we learned we were waiting to speak to an actual doctor who came in for all of 30 seconds ( after he finished chatting with his co workers )and we were released. I will NEVER go back to this dump again. Next time I'll drive the extra distance to Princeton!
