Had a lovely meal at Wingfield a couple of weeks ago! All the staff were really helpful and kept things running smoothly under the current circumstances. Nice to see staff in visors too, which you don’t get in a lot of other pubs! Was greeted at the door by Natasha who was very polite and made us feel welcome. Now winter is approaching. I’m looking forward to returning for my yummy carvery fix.

A very conveniently located Diner and Pub with excellent staff and service. The variety of food and drinks is vast, the ambience great and seating comfortable and user friendly for the whole family. They did serve the fridge cold and very hard berry crumble but listened to our complaint and rectified to replaced the dessert with the correct one with an apology.
I visited Wingfield Farm yesterday. I have to give my visit 5 stars as the service and food was beyond my expectations. Everything felt very safe and was well organised. The staff worked so hard and they are all clearly an asset to the company. The main course was served quickly and was hot and tasty, we also left room for a cake which was delicious. I have to mention a big shout to the lady hosting the door. Tasha was so polite and helpful explaining everything clearly to us. We will definitely be returning soon.
If you haven’t visited for dessert you are missing out. I’m sure it’s not normal to eat cakes sizes that large but I attempted it, fudge cake with custard which was lovely. The waitress noticed I hadn’t finished it all and offered to get me a box to take hone which was a good spot as sometimes it’s embarrassing asking for a ‘doggy bag’. Faultless cakes and service, got a goodbye from 3 staff members on my way out which is rare at places so gave me a good feeling. I will be back for more cake.
Came a few weeks ago for a family meal and under the new circumstances was just as impressed as we usually are. Food was lovely, staff were friendly and did everything they could to make sure we enjoyed our visit. Lady at the door, Tasha greeted us warmly and made us feel really welcome and at ease, despite the changes due to Covid. Can’t wait to return!
