I live in this place. It is a factory of jute. There are making a different type of jute bag.

Debasish Bondyopadhyay

It is one of the oldest jute mill of the West Bengal. Once up to early eighties Radha Babu was the owner of this factory. After his death the Kankaria Group purchased it and started in a new way. At present it is one of the pioneer jute bag supplier of Food Corporation of India and also export their jute bags to the other countries. The economy of Suthern Belur depend on this jute mill.
