Pros: the gentleman behind the counter was very welcoming. Prices are good Cons: gumbo has way too much rice- more like eating rice and gravy than gumbo Safety concern: one of the cooks didn't have his mask on the whole time he was preparing my lunch. Only after I asked the manager to ask him to put it on did he comply and he rolled his eyes while doing it. It's unfortunate bc the rest of the staff had their masks on properly but in order to be safe around people and their food everyone needs to wear their mask. In short, would I go back...\u200d️

Love Georgia's Catfish Kitchen! We usually order through door dash and I can call and ask about my order. Staff is always responsive and helpful. I always call for pick-up or through a delivery service. Today the food was super hot like it just came out of the kitchen. Much appreciated!
Today was the worst service ever. Ordered 3 dinners that took over 45 minutes to prepare. Watch 8 customers order and leave while I'm left waiting. Then to compensate they didn't offer anything. The cashier tried to give a soda and then a 8 oz gumbo. Don't waste your time here. The cashier didn't mask up and never washed her hands after going outside on the phone and then back to the kitchen gather orders. I watched the owner leave but without supervision the staff is going to get this place shutdown. I want to support my people but to tell a customer 10 to 15 minutes and take over 45 minutes is a darn shame. They've lost a valued customer.
This food is A1 delicious. They deserve every star. They have the best catfish and seafood in the area. The red beans are amazing.The hush puppies are not dry like most places and the fish is cooked perfectly. They definitely know what they are doing because the food is perfectly flavored. There was not a thing I didn’t like.This is definitely my new favorite place to eat. Prices are great and the service is friendly and fast.
This place is great. I love the fried catfish and fried shrimp basket. Great seasoning, fried to perfection and not salty. The jambalaya is outstanding and so are the green beans. Did I mention they make their tartar sauce? I never cared for tartar sauce but this place has made me love their tartar sauce. The gumbo had too much rice in it but it was still good. The boudin balls are always to die for. I love this place and they carry black owned desserts and drinks. Wonderful.
