Good for kids
Gold mine was rather anti-climactic, but the ghost town more than makes up for it. The fuzzy donkey was so cute! The goats were so sweet! The gift shop was the best we visited all weekend. Wonderful find!

Arizona history unfolded right in front of your eyes. The working museum had staff that actually took the time to chat with you and tell you about why & how this spot was established. If you want to boost your historical scholar intelligence, then this place is worth the time. If your expecting Disneyland, go to California and don't come back. God bless Gold King Mine & Ghost Town!
This was a super fun stop while visiting Jerome! Seeing all the old mining equipment gave a great picture on how this place must of been back in the day. A must stop.
We were hoping to go into a mine. We could about 50 ft. It was basically a very well organized yard of old vehicles and machinery parts. A few outbuildings that were cool. The outhouse was good...lol. my grand daughter lived the animals. Not worth the drive from Phoenix just to see the mine. Nice touristy shops.
So cool!! Worth the 7 and more. Will definitely come visit again. The kitty at the gift shop was the best bonus.
