Small and cool airport. It takes 100 meters from the entry of the airport to the plane. No shops, just one bar (but there is a nice restaurant in about one km from there).

No online check in is available at this airport. Tiny small parking, although they service about three flights a day, and the entire airport is empty. Took few extra minutes to park, and ran into a big problem. We arrived at the booth literally a minute after they closed the registration, although the flight’s departure was delayed at the same time for another few minutes. For the next 50 minutes the entire airport staff literally did nothing to let us on the flight. They lied that plane’s door is closed and they can’t do anything about it. I went out and took attached picture 10 minutes later. I’ve had a few wrinkles in airports across the world, some in the US where I live the past decade, and each and every time staff tried hard to help and accommodate. Here I was told that I shouldn’t assume I can just arrive last minute and get on the flight. And that was almost an hour before the plane took off! Angry racist little people.
Perfect service, nice people, great airport and city
Po roku se vracím na nejkrásnější místa kolem města a Lázní Karlovy Vary. Vracím se sem v době pandemie Covid 19.Je neděle krásně počasí, slunečno Vyjizdim ze svého bydliste kolem Tržnice a jedu nahoru po Vyhlídce na starou Pražskou silnici serpentonou přes Hurky dolu na rychlostní silnici a po kousku zrychlení odbocim do K. Vary Olsova Vrata a klikatou silnisu kolem prahu vzletove dráhy Letiště Karlovy Vary. Cestou jsem se kochal krásou podzimu vybarveno všemi barvami. Jsm spokojen, že je hotová rekonstrukce budovy Dispecerske služby. Je zde všude příjemné ticho a klid. Když sem přijedu vždy mám nostalgické pocity na mladí. Navstivim ještě Vitkovou horu, odkud je nejhezčí pohled do krajiny. A poté při návratu domů odbocim z Hurek na Gothovou Vyhlídku která ani není tak vyhlídka jako krásne místo na odpočinek. Já beru spis jako romantiky zamecek, jaký byl i Gothe.
Pouze pracovní jednání s vedením letiště, profesionální, věcný a lidský přístup na úrovni, děkuji.
Hezké prostředí. V současné době minimální provoz
В Карловых Варах рекомендую не только поправлять здоровье и совершать прогулки по окрестностям, но посетить множество чудных городков Германии. Хотя, конечно, главное вода и терренкур.
