Been coming here for many months now and I've found as a newcomer that Helen's really friendly and knows her stuff inside out. I'm really grateful for that too, because it can be quite intimidating at the beginning when you don't really know what to ask for! Also a great selection to choose from. I honestly don't know of anywhere that compares :)

Nice selection of wools but felt very humiliated after the shop assistant shouted as I walked in to use the sanitiser I explained I had used my own outside the door. She then asked if I had used the door handle. I said no I pushed it open with my elbow. All this in front of another customer and my husband very loudly as though I was a child. When I made my purchase I offered a note to pay and was greeted with a box slammed on the counter to put it in. My change was given. No please,thank you for your custom or goodbye. I have previously been to this shop many times and with my granddaughter and it was always an enjoyable experience. I will take my business elsewhere as it’s obviously not needed in this very unwelcoming shop
