If you someone want to feel the jamindari vibe while also having the Bengali authentic cuisine but also in a pocket friendly budget than that person should visit this place once in s Life..!! No other restaurants in Kolkata is offering a large number of Bengali dishes within a pocket friendly budget or price like they have..!! And none other the name is Damurs Bar & Restaurant ..,!! This restaurant is situated to nearby areas of poodar court and Kolkata police headquarters which is famous as lalbazar..!! This restaurant is divided into two parts one is bar counter which is in a ground floor another one is dine in section which is in the top floor of it...!! They are offering something really interesting ,,and the most delicious bengali cuisine which is named as dasavujha thali which includes buffet worth rupees 499/- taxes and if you are looking for more in a budget price then you should go for only thali which is just at the cost of 249/- taxes..!! This thali includes luchi,, cholar dal,,Benarasi aloo dum,, murshidabadi murgir jhol,,fish muniya,, bardhaman rajbarir pulao,, kashimbazar ar kosha mangsho,, chutney,,papad,, poromanno and the ice cream in the last..!! All the foods are Droolworthy and much satisfactory as they also have a tempting and the most quite and peaceful ambience ever so that someone can visit over here with there family,,friends and with your beloved too.!! So i must suggest to all the people out there please do visit this place once and have feel the most authentic bengali cuisine ever in the jamindari vibe..!!

Sharodiya Subeccha Would like to start with warm wishes to all my friends for the most awaited Durga Puja.Well if you want to make this puja a good and happening one then there is a good news!! Recently visited this must visit place.Located at a ten minutes walking distance from Central metro station. It is located in Radhabazar,Dalhousie. The Damurs Bar and Restaurant has launched their newly Puja menus.(Dasabhuja thali)@249/- The speciality of the thali is it consists of ten items. luchi-The luchi was soft from inside and has a slight crispness from outer part. Cholardal- Very well prepared has a perfect balance of sweet and spicyness eventually accompanied the luchi well. Benarasi Alur dom- I just loved it .The gravy was amazing the potatoes were well boiled and cooked perfectly. Murshidabadi Murgir jhal-This was unique and was made keeping in mind some secret ingredients from Murshidabad I guess. Fish Muniya-Also the Fish batter fry made with Bhetki Mach .This was top notch. Bhetki fillets were crisp fried.And just melted once in your mouth. Bhardaman Rajbarir Pulao-The polao tasted amazing not like a regular pulao but far more better than that.The aroma was simply amazing. Mutton Kosha-Very well prepared and had a good combination of spices.The mutton were soft and well cooked. Chutney-The chutney they prepared was with aam papad ,dates and dryfruits couldn't have been better than this. Papad-Very crispy and well fried. Poromanno- A perfect dessert, made with Milk,condensed milk,rice,sugar loaded with dryfruits in it. Trust me it is more than enough for one person.The quantity they are providing is highly sufficient. They also have unlimited buffet option @499/_ The Ambience was mesmerising and was decorated with beautiful folk arts of goddess Durgas Chao dance.Very pleasing and appealing. An appropriate place to visit this Puja and spend quality time with your friends and family members along with good foods.

There dishes like Dasabhuja thali 1. Luchi 2. Cholar dar. 3. Fish batter fry 4. Kashmiri Alur dum 5. Basanti pulao 6.Murshidabadi chicken 7. Mutton kosha 8. Payesh 9. Chatni 10. Papad 11. Salad The costing of these Thalis is 249 thali 599 buffet also These thalis is perfect fit for your lunch or dinner, with all the quintessential Bengali dishes on offer throughout the three courses - the starter, main course, and dessert The have peaceful and tempting ambience so that someone can visit over here with their family, friends and beloved ones too. So I recommend to all the people out there please do visit this place once and have feel the most authentic bengali cuisine vibes....

It's located near Central Metro Station .. It's such a lovely place .. Few days ago I visited this restaurant and really it's a great place .. Beautiful ambience .. Staff's behavior was good .. Now come to the food - Luchi, Chholar Daal, Kashmiri aloordum, Fish batter fry, Basanti Pulao, Murshidabaadi Chicken, Mutton Kasha, Chatni, Papad and Payes .. Each and every item was amazing and delicious .. Pocket friendly .. Must visit ..

Located just behind Lalbazar police headquarters in Radhabazar lane is this wonderful place where I visited a few days back. They serves a wide variety of Chinese and North Indian food. This restaurant has a really beautiful ambience and interior where folk art masks of chouu dance has been hanged from the walls and there has been placards of their newly launched Dashabhuja Thali specially for the durga puja. The staff members are really humble and soft-spoken and proper hygiene was maintained by all of them. Bengalis, Food and Durga Puja are completely inseparable things so this Dashabhuja Thali introduced by Damurs Bar and Restaurant should not be missed out by those who are a fan of authentic Bengali cuisine. One should try the dishes available at a very reasonable price. They also have a buffet of the same dishes that they provide in the thali. The buffet is unlimited and can be enjoyed throughout the year but the Thali is specially for the Puja which will be available from 18th to 28th October. Puja buffet lunch/dinner is only for Rs.499/- (Non-Veg) And the Puja special Dashabhuja Thali is only for Rs. 249/- The Thali had a variety of dishes:- Luchi. Cholar Daal. Fish batter Fry. Kashmiri Aloor Dum. Basanti Polao. Murshidabadi Chicken. Mutton Kosha. Payesh. Chatni. Papad. Salad. My favourites were Fish batter fry which was crisp from the outside and soft and juicy from the inside. Perfectly cooked and was really delicious. Murshidabadi Chicken which had a beautiful aroma of mustard seeds, the Chicken pieces were soft and tender and well cooked. The gravy was thick and luscious and went perfectly with Basanti Polao. Mutton kosha cooked perfectly in the authentic bengali style gravy and tasted wonderful. Cholar Daal went really well with the Luchi. So make your Durga Puja deliciously affordable and enjoy this special thali with your friends and family.
