Easy and clean, it is also super that you can have free public transportation from airport to city center, thumbs up and legs crossed

Swiss efficiency at it's finest, never manage to get through security as fast as when I'm in Switzerland.

GVA is small, which results in typically short walking distances, expect for D-gates which are pretty remote. Actually it is split to a Part located in France and the main Part in Switzerland. Security control is well managed and i have never experienced extensive waiting even at peak times. Information panels in central area, listing flights and corresponding departure gates, pretty clear directions, but as it s small one hardly can get lost anyway. Parking is extraordinary expensive, a decent number of Shops, Restaurants and Services, in the Area extending towards the train station a fully equipped supermarket is found. Overall the airport would largely benefit from some investment in renovation, in some areas it's 80's style interior, eg facilities on lounge level, above departure gates... Eeeek, hence 2* deduction.

Good airport. Friendly passport control. There was a problem with luggage (because of flight delay and transfer, so my luggage was put in next plane, than me), but it was solved very fast and it was delivered to hotel by airport service for free even faster than i arrived there..

Simple but could be easier. Be aware that it can take some time to exit Schengen
