Lillith fair

The 'whole' chicken from the subscription meatbox is like no chicken I've had before (and that includes other organic suppliers) There is soooo much meat on it, all over not just the breast - it took me forever to strip it down! It's like a revelation and makes quite clear the poor condition of birds that are intensively produced to be 'breast heavy'. It's bit of a trek from Halifax to the farm but definitely worth it.

This farm is amazing! Run by genuine, lovely people. We only eat meat from here as it is so tasty and we have seen the good treatment of the animals. The packaging for the meat box is almost plastic-free now too. We also love the veg and are part of the CSA garden growers club where we get a share of the harvest (at a very good rate) each week. There is a reason this place is winning awards. Cannot recommend enough.
