I cannot recommend Paul highly enough! Paul's kindness, instruction and patience are second to none and he creates a warm and engaging teaching environment that allows you to feel safe enough to go out of your comfort zone and get some great work done. Even in a small number of sessions, Paul has absolutely transformed my voice and my confidence in singing. He is an extremely knowledgeable teacher and always communicates positively and proactively. He's taken the time to get to know me and uses my strengths to help me work on the things I need to improve on! Paul has definitely brought the 'fun' back into singing for me - and that has made me a better singer and performer! Paul is truly a great person to work with and anybody would be lucky to have his tuition.

I contacted Paul just prior to Lockdown for singing lessons which he arranged via Zoom. During the first lesson, Paul immediately set me at ease with his friendly and kind manner. Paul's enthusiasm, knowledge and passion were evident right from the start. I've really enjoyed every lesson so far and along with his online course, I'm learning so much and gaining confidence. Paul really understands the learning process and has a real talent for conveying complicated ideas in an easily understandable and practical way. I would highly recommend Paul to anyone wishing to develop vocal craft.

I have been working with Paul for around six months , and look forward to his lessons. His knowledge of how the voice works makes lessons so informative and specific to each person. He makes you so aware of how your own voice works which is really invaluable as you can carry that with you throughout your career . He has also been wonderful for last minute audition prep and always listens to what you feel like you're struggling with. I am finding his lessons online just as valuable as the in person ones before the lockdown. Really can't recommend him enough.

I can’t recommend Paul enough. Since we began working together, Paul has helped me across many different areas. He has not only helped me to significantly improve my technical vocal ability, but also my performance and confidence. Whilst working together, Paul has helped me choose and perfect the right performance songs for drama school auditions, providing me with the understanding necessary to achieve a high standard of vocal performance. Paul has a special skill when it comes to making you feel comfortable from the outset. He is genuinely keen for you to improve and grow as a vocalist, which he has helped me do significantly in the last 12 months that we have worked together. I started Singing Lessons with Paul just before Christmas last year, and I'm so glad I did! He's so professional, friendly and easy to talk to and he knows exactly what you need to do to try and get what you want from your voice. Being a professional performer/singer I need someone who knows the ins and outs of the voice and body to really tune in to those specific elements that I want out of my voice, and Pauls knowledge is really evident and he works in an easy way without too much jargon so you can put it into practice. I've learnt extra things from Paul just in the few months I've been going to him which make my singing even easier, and learnt new things about my psyche towards singing also! He's great, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to fine tune their singing, or even just starting out. He's a gem to find in the North!
