I have just spoken to the most unhelpful condescending receptionist! It felt like she was actually laughing at me as l could not make an appointment for my unwell daughter! Shocking service, she should not be in this sort of role!

This surgery is extremely busy. All day. However I can not fault the reception staff for their patience with myself and seeing them deal with patients waiting. Always going above and beyond. Was always worried coming from a small village doctors to a town one. But best move I've made. Recently undergone major surgery with my doctor and doctors I've seen when that one not available have been a god send. Let's hope they can find bigger premises but without loosing their one to one communication. Treating me as a person not a number.

I had to wait 4 days for an urgent prescription due to the incompetence of the staff here. Have been hung up on by receptionists, you wait on the phone and they just pick up the phone and put it down without saying hello. AVOID THIS GP SURGERY.

My wife and I have been registered at Nevells Road surgery for over 40 years now and both our children were also registered there until they left home. We’ve always been more than happy with all the doctors, practice nurses and the unfailingly helpful reception staff. After making appointments we receive confirmation via text messages and similarly with their texts offering me appointments for my flu jab and annual “Wellman” checkup.
