My favorite bookstore in the whole world. The staff is lovely, their selection is wide and wonderful and the atmosphere is super cozy, just as I like it. Nothing beats wandering around the store browsing through a ton of books on a rainy day (or any day, for that matter). They even have a reading corner! This bookstore makes it so much fun to buy local. I never leave the store without at least one (or two) books to add to my collection. And in case they do not have a book you're looking for, they'll order it for you and it will be there in the blink of an eye! I could not recommend Librairie Alinéa more :)

I ordered two books that were available on the website. After one week i didn't receive any feedback no SMS no email. I sent them and asked for clarifications. Long story short i went to retrieve my order and I had to pay more than the price they sent me on the confirmation email. When I asked why they said it was increased as they ordered \from Belgium\. Not recommended and I am not shopping again.
Extremely good news: the bookshop is not closing anymore...for a while at least! It needs our support!! You can also order books there, of almost any kind, and in my direct experience they usually arrive quite quickly...in some days...it should not be a great sacrifice to buy there instead of on Amazon...rather the contrary....you would enjoy a delightful place and spend there an extremely relaxing portion of your time!
Yes! Finally a place with a great selection of literature in French, German, and English! Haven't been able to find that sort of a selection in Saarland. Would come to Luxembourg for the day just for this bookstore!
This is and always will be my favorite book store in Luxembourg. The city wouldn't be the same without it. You'll find all sorts of different books here and in different languages too. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. It's the best and shouldn't be missed at any cost.
A nice calm place in the heart of the city. A good selection of books, mostly in German, French and English. I particularly like the comic book section upstairs.
Great bookshop. Good selections, competent and friendly service.
They have a very good selection of English novels, and a small but decent one of Spanish novels. It's a bit expensive though
