My husband and I enjoyed our visit. It was lovely to photograph and my husband took his drone and got some great Ariel footage on video of it. Nice surrounding area with opportunities for walking. Southrey is near by which has a quaint church you can go in too. Great cycling area with the Sustrans Water Rail cycle bath available.

Very interesting ruins....in the 70s there was a music festival here apparently Roxy music and rod Stewart played!
The place is easy to find and to park is free. Not much there so 10 min is long enough there unless you bring your own food then nice place to eat
It's intriguing, but there's very little there. You need lots of imagination and a feel for history. But if that describes you, you will enjoy the long and wide views and keenly sense the isolation and devotion of the original occupants.
11th century refectory in a quiet unspoilt location. It’s a ruin and this makes it even better than a restored site. You can use your imagination to imagine what what it would have looked like 900 years ago. If you can’t, there are display boards to help. See photos. Well worth a visit and lots of other walks nearby. Easy to find as it can be seen from the road.
