I've seen only outside. it's a nice aqueduct, quite big, long and very interesting. The airplanes are always flying above it to land, so you can see them also very close which was a bonus.

Beautiful long walk in a great residential neighborhood.

Nice place to visit. It looks more impressive from side that from aqueduct itself. All walking is under the sun. Site has free admission days. Nice visit for half and hour. Aqueduct was built only 150 years ago so it preserved at perfect shape.

Aqueducts are very cool, however going to the water museum you get to walk along the top which is not the most exciting thing and you dont really get a good view of the whole structure. Seeing them from the side is much cooler in my opinion.

Tranquil atmosphere. Off the beaten track so not crowded with tourists. Interesting architecture, particularly getting a chance to see the interior where the water travelled. Unique views of the city.

Really beautiful structure; however as tourists we got lost and ended up in the wrong neighborhood on one side of Campolide train station. Nothing bad happened but i would suggest avoiding it. Go to the side that has the stairs to the aqueduct. Unfortunately the aqueduct was closed by the time we got there, nonetheless it’s beautiful and i definitely recommend a visit.

Construction started in 1731 and was completed in 1834. On November 1st, 1755, the 1755 Lisbon earthquake hit the city, but the aqueduct managed to remain intact. Its best known part is the 35 arches over the valley, the highest of which is 65 meters high. It is not very visited, because it is a bit far from the historical center, besides there is little information about this place. Aqueduct of more than two kilometers. It is possible to visit and cross it starting at the Museu da Água (3 euros the ticket).

Historically significant and unique. It looks like they are in the process of adding information speakers. For now you have to do your own research.
