We find this Airport great for easy access into Central London. You can take the DLR (Docklands Light Railway) and link up to the tube system or you can take a taxi. It is much quicker than coming in from any of the other London airports. The airport itself is quite small and easy to navigate.

London City Airport has a single 4,948 ft long runway and the largest aircraft that can be used at the airport is the Airbus A318 that has been modified with a \steep approach function\. The first aircraft landed on 31-May-1987, with the first commercial services operating from 26-October-1987. Due to the airport's proximity to Central London, it has stringent rules imposed to limit the noise impact from aircraft operations.

Very clean & quiet at the moment, drop of is close but no pick up, need to ise car park, is a bit of a walk.
