We scheduled an appointment with Dr. Nerses Sanossian in regards to my daughter who had a stroke at 35 years of age. We have seen 2 other neurologist who really did not seem too concerned with the cause of her stroke. He reviewed all of her medical records and explained in detail the cause of her stroke and steps we could take to prevent a stroke in the future. He spent over an hour and a half with us. He was so personable and so encouraging. I cannot say enough about his professionalism and his concern for his patients. We are so happy we waited to see him...he is the BEST !!!!

Came into the lobby, introduced himself and helped my wheelchair bound mate back into the exam room. My guy had had a bad stroke and after a year was still partially paralyzed. He had a physical therapist in the room to help with the examination. Spent an hour and did a very thorough exam and than instead of medication prescribed what had been denied to my guy for the last year...physical, occupational and speech therapy and set a follow up appointment. There was no wait time and no talking down to us. Maybe there is hope that my guy can someday come home

I'm a healthcare professional as well but i decided to write this review as one of dr sanossian's patients. Dr Sanossian is a scholar, a genius, very genuine and caring doctor. I had life threatening emergency in 2013. I was recommended to see him because he is one of the most distinguished scientists and specialist in stroke and recovery from brain / vascular injuries. In terms of his approach and treatment plans, everything is backed up by legit research (he himself is author of over 200 research papers in regards to traumatic brain injury and/or stroke). Under his care, my symptoms have been improving and i don't have much restrictions in terms of living daily life. He is a true role model for drs, regardless of the specialty. You are lucky if you are a patient under his care.
