Hi Everyone I would like to advise you not to go to this school for reasons keep on reading. Since Dr Pye has taken over the school as new head he has limited the learning of my child, by taking away options in ad that give creativity to the child has been replaced with history of art which only occurred when Dr Pye took over. Futhermore my child who has quite a creative side to her and musical is limited by music being most if not all theory which means no practical in doing so for this year Year 10 music is not an option due to too little people choosing the subject which has never happened before. In addition the rules are too strict for example if you forgot a book for just one of your subjects you would have to go to an after school detention despite the fact that this school doesn’t even have lockers to put their belongings in. Plus if you got caught with your phone no matter if you were using it or if it was in your bag it would confiscated off you until the next day at the end of school however if you forgot it on a Friday you would have to wait until Monday or if it was next to half term you would have to wait that long. I understand that this is a long review but if you really care about your child’s education like I do you will not send them here. Best wishes Climax

They treat us like we are 4 year olds teaching us how to stand up and leave a room, then tell us to be more mature, grow up and act like an adult.

I appreciate the education they are trying to provide, and should an incident arise parents are contacted but I don't agree with the way things are handled when the head Dr. Pye is involved. It's easier to deal with teaching staff to find a solution and feel like your concerns are listened to. It was a much happier environment 2 years ago before the head was changed and I would not have sent my children to this school if I had known the atmosphere and attitudes would have shifted so drastically.

yeah I no po

Staff are patronising too strict and not on a level in the real world take your kids to a school that's not stuck in the 1800s more modern etc also they make the rules up as they go along sending out emails etc with info on that's not correct so dont waste your time very dissatisfied

- Dr. Pye is such a brilliant headteacher. - Welcoming - High standards - Nice teachers - Brilliant tastes (Green and Orange) - Even better ideas (no phones, 2 warnings and a detention) - Very modern and well kept!!!!
