I gave 3 stars because it was not open at 4pm! It opens mornings only except Monday when its closed all day. Through the bars the amphitheatre looks great. A disappointment when driving all day from Bologna to visit it!

It is amazing place. The amphitheatre is from the time of the Romans. Now there is a library by side. Along with the amphitheatre one can see old pots, pillars, bricks and some important antique items.
