I enjoy shopping for clothes but don’t have time to do it regularly and never really know what suits me best colour, style or shape-wise. I decided I needed some help. I researched a few London stylists online, but decided to call Marika because I liked the care and thought that she’d put into her website. We spoke on the phone and I knew immediately that I’d made the right choice; Marika was warm and enthusiastic and came across as genuinely excited to be able to help me. I was also reassured by the fact that Marika was clearly organised and would spend some real time researching ideas and options before and in between our meetings. I decided to go for Marika’s Ultimate Styling Package, including wardrobe, body and colour analysis, as I felt that, not only would that give me a full guide against which to shop in future, but it would also allow us to have a really focused shopping day. It was well worth it. Marika spent a whole day at our house, at the end of which we’d agreed on my ‘knock out’ colours, I’d tried on (and Marika had photographed) most of the combinations that were achievable from my (then) current wardrobe and we’d decided what type of items and colours we’d be looking for when we went shopping. Marika then spent another day, the day before our shopping trip, selecting items that fitted the brief, so that, on the day itself, everything was there ready to be tried on (and photographed again so that I could see things properly from all sides and make the right choices). We had a really successful and enjoyable day and I came away with a great new wardrobe (within budget, which was something that Marika paid careful attention to). I cannot recommend Marika’s styling services highly enough. She put time and effort in, before, during and after our days together to make sure that I got the most out of the experience and we had fun doing it along the way. Wardrobe day and shopping day! Marika is a patient lady who knows her stuff! She knew what i needed even before i did. I absolutely detest shopping and have no idea about clothes, somehow Marika made me smile throughout and fills you full of confidence, no wonder she has 5 stars here. I have booked the styling package with Marika twice, once in January for winter clothes and last week for my summer clothes. Both times, Marika was amazing; she really helped me identify which shapes are the most flattering for my body. At home, she put together some outfits and gave lots of good advices of how to combine pieces together in a way I would never have think of myself. Then during the shopping days, plenty of amazing pieces were waiting for me when I arrived. It was so difficult to make a choice between them as Marika had selected brilliant pieces which all fitted very well. After shopping at Harvey Nichols for most of the day, we went to Zara and Marika identify really good cheaper pieces. Overall we managed to stay within the budget I had in mind from the beginning. I am so happy about all the clothes that we bought together. Marika really helped me upgrade my styling in general, I have received tones of compliments on my new outfits! Now I know better what to buy for myself when I will be on my own... but for sure I will contact Marika again in the future, for me or recommend her to my friends.
I can wholeheartedly recommend the complete styling package. After doing the colour and wardrobe analysis I had a much better understanding of the kind of items that work for me. The subsequent shopping trip was even better - Marika (who is v knowledgeable and diligent!) had selected some great pieces and I’ve never been happier with my outfits.
I never worked with a personal stylist before and after evaluating tens around London, I chose Marika Page because of her extensive portfolio and the breadth of her offering. Marika’s passion and deep experience immediately shone through after our first exchange, and I ended up selecting her “Ultimate Styling Package” with Body & Color Analysis, Wardrobe Planning & Assessment and Full-Day Personal Shopping trip. I highly recommend the full package to anyone; it’s SO worth it. I’ve learned so much about the right types of cuts, fabrics and prints that complement my figure. I now have a “go-to” palette of colors that accentuate my natural skin tone (and know which ones to avoid!) She’s reinvigorated my current wardrobe, introducing me to new ways to style my tried & true pieces. Marika has also helped me become smarter about my own shopping habits. Thanks to all her tips, I’m a lot more selective about the types of clothing I purchase -- saving me a lot of time and money! But one of the biggest highlights has been that I constantly receive compliments from friends, colleagues and even passersby in the street on my looks. You really can’t put a price on the confidence boost. I plan to work with Marika again soon for next season’s wardrobe and I can’t wait!
I highly recommend the ultimate styling package with Marika. It is really helpful to have a better understanding of what style and colour of clothes suits me so that I know what to look out for when I go shopping on my own. Prior to our shopping day Marika picked out some really great pieces so when I arrived at the store all the items were ready for me to try on. She introduced to me to brands I have never heard of but flatter my shape. I have received some lovely compliments so far, all thanks to Marika!
Marika was such a great help! I am new to the city and was unfamiliar with the brands and stores- there are so many to choose from! I did not wish to spend my free time learning a whole new shopping culture. I contacted Marika via telephone and she was surprisingly available! We had a long chat where I detailed what I was looking for in a new work wardrobe. She provided a lot of information on top designers and others who would not fit what I was looking for. I was thrilled to spend the day with Marika trying on the roomful of looks she picked out for me. There must have been close to fifty pieces not including shoes and accessories! You can see how dedicated Marika is to her work. She works realistically with your style, shape, colors that suit best and is excited when pieces work together in unexpected ways. Her focus was much appreciated. I would highly recommend Marika to anyone looking for a change or a complete new style. I'm sure I'll see Marika again in the future. Thank you Marika!
