Well, that other guy's review of the 1 star because he presumably didn't get the job (get over it pal, happens to everybody) just can't be allowed to stand. Let me be clear: as I understand it, AAA is Booker at Wycombe Air Park...if I am wrong about this just stop reading. I am sure I am correct because I am billed by AAA for my flight training. Well, I have done a lot of IR SPA training in my time, and I have struggled this year to renew my IR due to transferring to glass cockpit, and all new unfamiliar airspace. If money had been no object, I would be having the time of my life...by far the most beneficial flying I have done education wise, apart from my initial IR. We're getting there, finally I think. (Microsoft FSX has been a godsend!). The airspace surrounding Booker is complicated and busy. Particularly the Wycombe 24 SID...is a beast. So be prepared. Regarding the actual school, it is staffed by some real characters (much like most FTO's in my experience). A great bunch, top end commercial instruction. Very professional instructors. (Whoever wrote \very unprofessional\ in their review must have attended a different club!). I have two criticisms: firstly, from a skint student's POV, they seem quite rule conscious...by this I mean, it is all done very much by the book and to the letter. I guess this isn't a criticism, it just is less relaxed than other FTO's I have trained at before. Of course, rules are there for a reason, this is perhaps more a criticism of other, less serious FTO's. Secondly, I am undertaking an IR renewal; it seems that there is not a general consensus amongst all the insructors as to a renewal's constitution...I was practising stalling when I didn't need to; I was flying airways when I (debatedly) didn't have to. But minor quibbles, and in any case a better understanding of every aspect builds the bigger picture. Great school.

I applied for a job, and they even locate themselves as being in Wycombe, even though they are closer to Lane End. Bad organisation and bad overall knowledge!
