Stunning Manor but drive up and back is problematic to say the least. Narrow road forces cars onto grass Saturday gone it in parts was deep mud.

Beautiful gardens in the lovely setting of grand house & pretty little church. Despite the driving rain it was a pleasant to be with the glorious flowers & pond.

Rain or shine, Great Chalfield's a wonderfully uplifting place to visit. The manor's exterior architecture is very ornate and the gardens are marvellously sculpted; the flower-beds hum with busy visitors. The lake teams with life & a stroll around it provides walkers with a lovely view of the manor & gardens. There's also access to All Saints Church which features a remarkable example of naturalistic, stylish and modern stained glass. Also impressive onsite was the level of 'Covid awareness' & safety provisioning. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place to go for a morning/afternoon. The grounds are full of colour with the range of flowers. It's a guided tour around the house, the guides are full of interesting facts. It was a shame that we were not able to take pictures inside the property but full understand the reasons why. Over all it is a lovely quiet place to have a wonder round

Went to this lovely old 15th century manor, had a good look around the beautiful gardens then went on The guided tour of the Manor itself.sadly we were told that we could not take photos inside, but I see some people have taken some sneaky snaps,I took plenty around the gardens, the lovely old buildings, the help yourself tea room and stables which still have the horses in,it is nice to see them still being used, there are more photos in the main gallery ,I try to make my reviews as informative as I can to help all of you out there.so have a look at my photos hope you enjoy them.
