We have moved from our previous vets to Pets Practice with our 3 cats. We were quoted from our previous vet an extortionate amount to treat a dental problem on one of our cats so I emailed all local vets for quotes. (Interestingly from the varying prices in quotes from other vets I would recommend doing the same). Pets Practice gave the best quote, which to be fair was a special offer. but they treated all 3 of my cats for dental care for less than half the price i was quoted for one cat by an MK vet chain. The after care was amazing and was inclusive in the price so no hidden charges or being charged every time you see a vet. You can see the staff have a genuine love for animals and focus all their attention on your pet whilst also providing us Humans with great service and answer any concerns we may have. I would highly recommend Pets Practice and very happy I discovered them. Not only do they really care for your pet but they provide a complete service without being overcharged.(Note: our previous vet surgery would charge if you so much as looked at a vet. I haven't found that to be an issue with Pets Practice)
Best vet we have used and so warm and welcoming. I genuinely feel they care about the animals they look after and give honest and informative advice. Very glad to have them on our doorstep.
Like most other pet owners I was very wary of moving to a new vet practice but thank goodness I made the move to Pet Practice at the end of 2018! The move came about when I felt my previous vets (another local practice which I can't name here) began to insist on 3 monthly check up visits before prescribing repeat meds for Clomicalm to help keep my Siamese cat Yum Yum on an even keel. As Siamese are a breed that are naturally stressy anyway I felt the 3 monthly visits were unnecessary especially as they already saw her for her annual boosters and the teeth check ups. Each check up at the other vets was the equivalent of 33% of the cost for the meds so you can see how the bills started to mount up! Pet Practice agreed that it was unnecessary to have 4 visits a year. The check ups could be reduced as bringing in Yum Yum to the vets was only causing her stress - the very problem we were trying to alleviate. Not only that, Pet Practice gave me access to the drugs at a lower cost which has really helped the ongoing medical bills! I have to admit I felt somewhat fleeced by the other vet practice that I had been going to for years and I have now registered my other 3 pets with Pet Practice. Thank you Pet Practice for being honest and caring and putting the welfare of the pet ahead of the money you could easily have made out of us. I have recommended you to all my friends with pets xx
