They have 2 options of tempura, went with the traditional style of tempura which is different from others. By 12pm, the place is packed and queue forming up outside the shop along the stairs with salaryman looking for a good lunch. Can tell the shop is very packed with customers just before 12pm (as seen in the picture). Ordered the miso soup (Y100) with clams which is very good too. Refer to the picture with the Menu. You have to order fast during lunchtime rush hour as there is only 1 server. Quite cramped space but it is the usual eat and run kind of place.

Small cosy tempura place with about 16 seats allow you to witness the preparation of your meal. It was half filled when I arrived at opening hour 1130. \Speedy eating\ said the lady as it is lunch time. Good place to experience the lunch time eating with heart warming home cooked tempura don.
Came for dinner and had 8 or 9 amazing courses of tempura at around 7,500 per person. Quiet place for dinner and only locals there but very welcoming, and the chef speaks very good English. The best, kindest service we had in Tokyo.

This is an unacceptable place because the portion of the menu is provided obviously different depends on customer is male or female. Because the men who share the table with me ordered same menu with me and they were served bigger size ones obviously compare with mine. They serve small portion to female customer on its own with same price with male customer. Also they seem not repair or renew their equipments (tray, tea pot...etc.) those are damaged and dirty. That’s the typical egotistical place sit on their tradition.
