As somebody who was a student of Bob Sostack and Jason Luchan, I can say they are some of the best chess teachers on Long Island. During my three yearsof classes at the Garden City class, my USCF rating jumped from 900-1200. Needless to say, I went from a complete novice to understanding important elenents of chess, such as forks, pins, skewers, discovered attacks, etc. At the time of this review, my rating is 1600 USCF and I teach for Chess Nuts in Harbor Hill Elementary School. Margarita truly treats her employees just as well as her students and it is a pleasure to work for her.
