I recently purchased a laphroaig 10 year 750ml at 48. I thought this seemed a higher cost than usual, but trusted the pricing. On review it does seem 20-30% higher than the average market price (and twice the price of of a supermarket offer). I've always been happy with the craft ale selection and pricing, but this purchase will make me consider alternative options in the future.
It is an amazing find. From outside it looks small- but it goes back much further than you expect. A tremendous range of all types of alchohol.
Amazing range with expert advice if needed. Prices in line with supermarkets but far better service and lovely friendly people too. Will be back time and time again at this Sheffield institution!!
Great selection of local and international beers, many of which are ready chilled. Large section for spirits including old and rare whisky, and of course large selection of wines, fine wines and champagne Best all round off licence in Sheffield, 2nd best for beers Helpfully staff, some bottles a bit dusty/ dirty
