Mueang Samut Sakhon District, Thailand

Open 5 days a week. Off on Mon & Tue. People are very friendly. English is not particularly useful here though. Lots of yummy local food at very low price. Like a grilled fish for only 60 baht. Free live band, too. Getting a quick haircut with a style for only 120 baht is also available. The only possible drawback is it’s really far from the city. Driving on your own, as we did, is probably the only option if you want to get back to the city on the same day.

This part night market, part local market (talaat nut) and part music venue. With an old train as the centrepiece. There's a big car park in the back, a lane of run down bars leads into a clothing, mobile phone accessories and nicnac stalls. The next lane has street food, recommend the gai ob (chicken baked in pots) khanom jeeb (dim sums) and yam pla duk fu (fried and shredded catfish and spicy green mango salad). You can sit on railway sleepers with low tables and take in the kitch cabaret style musical performances while you eat to. Worth doing at least once.
Lot of foods and clothes. Really chill in the outdoor bar
Decent night market.
Very nice
