Modakam is located near Siddhivinayak temple, Prabhadevi. After taking a darshan we went here to eat something. I had - Farali pattice - It was a good in taste. The quantity was bit less but it was unique in taste. Stuffed with ground coconut and peanuts and crunchy from outside. Served with coconut chutney. Kothimbir vadi - You cannot miss their kothimbir vadi. It was so soft from inside and crunchy from outside. Must try. Pav bhaji - Street style spicy pav bhaji served with masala pav and a slice of lemon. Perfect! Paper masala dosa - Huge paper masala dosa was tasty and filling. Potato gravy was good in taste. To end our meal we ordered masala chaas and solkadhi. Masala chaas was perfect in taste. And solkadhi was beyond perfect. Sweet and bit tangy in taste. Also try their modak too.

So this the best place for Maharashtrians to have a marathmol food. One of the best place to visit at Siddhivinayak. When you visit this place first you will say out loudly ganpati Bappa Morya Yeah the place is located on the gate of Siddhivinayak temple. The place is compact and have good seating arrangements. They have varieties of items listed on their menu card. Place is very neat and clean and good hygiene is maintained. I loved the service as well. The staff is very polite and helped me out to choose out the food items. They have many varieties of Dosa’s ,Uttapas , Misal’s as well. They also serve Punjabi food as well in gravy. When I have visited I had ordered MASALA PAPER DOSA Biggest dosa I ever had in my life. The dosa was so huge and tasty as well. The masala was very tasty and dosa was very crispy. I had also ordered Cheese Grill Sandwich The sandwich was loaded with lots of cheese and vegetables. Farali Patice The pattice was very tasty and the chutney was awesome. I loved this items a lot, it’s a must Try item. Dahi wada ️ The wada was awesome and super tasty and loaded with Tadka dahi. Kokam sarbat was also very tasty and sweet sour. Visited this place with my colleagues as a get together, the placece is just located next to siddhi vinayak mandir, the ambience of the place I descent with a beautiful sitting, the place also serves fresh juices. So in snacks we tried the Cheese pav bhaji it was good loaded with cheese and medium spicy served with maasala pav, then we had the paper masala butter dosa Highly recommended dosa I would say, it was huge crispy served with white chutney sambhar the taste was also awesome. Then we had veg grilled sandwich with Cheese, it was superb crispy loaded with cheese and veggies. We also had the cheese pakoda which was too good it was soft from inside and crispy layer outside one bit and it will melt in it. Also try the kokam sharbat it was nice, over all the food and service was superb loved it.

Was on my way back home and that's when I saw this outlet. The name grabbed my attention and thought of trying some of the dishes. Known for some excellent Maharashtrian cuisines this place is a must try. Pav Bhaji:- A nice snack to have while you're hungry. Well cooked bhaji with pav submerged in butter. Came with finely chopped onions and lime, tasted good. Kothimbir wadi:- This is my favourite snack to have and it was really amazing here. Crispy from the outside and soft on the inside this wadi is really amazing. Veg Cheese Toast Sandwich:- A simple toast sandwich is really amazing to have. With veggies on the inside and grilled to perfection this really tasted so delicious. Onion uttapam:- Soft uttapam with delicious onions & corrainder over it. Served with sambhar and coconut chutney. The coconut chutney was spicy and sambhar was really good. Sol kadhi:- Good solkadi, not upto the mark. There was a little extra pepper in it which was disturbing to the throat. If that part is ignored it was good to have.

This place is right next to siddhivinayak temple. You will get everything at one place right from misal to pav bhaji or sandhwich and dosa too. I tried their Dahi Misal and Modak Dahi misal was okish didn't liked it that much. Also the modak was not stuffed well felt the outer layer was pretty thick and was super dry. Also not worth the money. And I felt it was very costly. Taste: 2.8 /5 Value for money: No

After ganpati bappa's darshan at siddhivinayak temple we decided to have some south indian dishes at modakam. This place is just outside the temple and you can differentiate this place easily from rest since it has a Modak shaped rooftop which looks pretty. Even the chairs backseat here are in the shape of Modak. We had Mysore masala dosa. Dosa looked amazing and was very delicious in taste. It was very crispy with Mysore masala stuffed inside. Then we had onion tomato Uthappa and I liked this the most since it was plain , simple and delicious. It was served with nice Sambhar and coconut chutney. All fitness lovers can definitely have this here. We had both this dishes with chaas (buttermilk)️
