Worst place ever I have attempted to work. Was taken on here through an agency. Was put on cushions (was an alright job). they stuck me with 2 foreigners who didnt speak English (about 10 words between them) and never even shown me what to do. Give the guys credit for trying to help but with hardly any communication between us it was quite hard to understand. Management never once asked if I was struggling, if I needed help or even explained what to do. They just left me to my own accord. Never have I experienced this no matter where I've worked. Anyway by end of the first break I personally thought I had got the hang of it, as you do on your first day you tend to take your time to make sure you get it right. The day finished without anyone talking to me, asking how I thought my day went etc. What made things worse is when I got home from doing an 8hour shift, I recieved a phone call from the agency I was with asking if I had any issues with the days work. Other than the fact I was dumped by management to do a job I never had done before I thought the day went well. Apparently according to buoyant had struggled all day not knowing what to do, and that they didnt want me to return. Well I dont care... for one of the biggest companies around this area.. there are the worst place I've worked. Due to current global events PPE not up to standard no one in factory 1 was wearing masks/proper foot wear. no gloves given for a job that there needed for.. and unless you can speak eastern European language you be very lucky to keep a job there. Just keep this in mind before you apply to work there.
