Visited at midday today with my 3 children all under 10. They loved it. Exploring through the different paths, picking up acorns, feathers and various leaves, it was wonderful. Elliot at the visitor centre was helpful and welcoming. We managed to join the RSPB with a donation of only 8 a month although you can donate as little as 5 for a family membership. This includes information brochures and magazines for both adult and child members. Bonus is that the reserve is open till late, has various benches to sit and enjoy the views as well as toilets which is very handy if you are travelling with little ones. Think I’ll visit everyday!

Walkways offer access to hides with passing places to respect social distancing. Well thought out. Amazing views from the iron age hill fort.

I really enjoyed walking here. You have to pay to enter but ended up joining the RSPB which worked out cheaper, can go anytime now.

Always great to visit here. Well looked after. Staff very nice and helpful. Not the best time of year to visit for seeing the birds, but a very pleasant short walk

Don't know why we haven't visited before, what a lovely place, very well laid out, staff friendly & helpful. A few of the hides were closed due to icy conditions & probably Covid .Beautiful views when you get up the top end.,lots of wildlife.
