This is the second restaurant with a full Mexican Vegan menu that I’ve tried in Manhattan, and I absolutely loved it here. The other location is Jajaja Plantas, and these places could not be anymore different, both amazing establishments. Bar Verde; is cozier and more sophisticated than the formerly mentioned. This establishment is more in line with your typical “upscale” Mexican restaurants in Manhattan. The establishment is nicely designed and decorated. Now my favorite thing ever, Margaritas, absolutely well balanced. One of the best ones I’ve tried in the city. Their knowledge of Tequila is also appreciated. I used to tell people that Mexican Vegan should be a thing, and I got crazy stares, so I am so glad that there are Mexican Vegan restaurants (full vegan menu) because it is possible to keep that authentic taste with plant based ingredients. Definitely recommend!

Finding good vegan food is a challenge and Bar Verde exceeded expectations. The servers were all friendly and attentive (shoutout to Luis and Miguel). The ambiance was cute and the food was absolutely delicious. Personally recommend the Paloma, nachos, fajita bowl (not pictured), and flan. Can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu!
We had the spicy cauliflower enchiladas. Absolutely incredible. Best Mexican food I've ever had!!!
A place you can take your non-vegan friends to. The food is incredible - we got the Fajita Bowls and the butternut queso is unreal. Definitely get the chips as a side or with your meal, they were very good. Can't wait to come back here and try more of the menu!
Although I’m not a big fan of vegan food, this place was great. Tasty vegan mexican food, give it a try!
