Great service the RNLI do, not least Newbiggen station. Called out Sunday with boats from other RNLI stations following collision betwee Cargo ship and Fishing boat. Crew rescued from fishing boat but unfortunately the fishing boat went down. Wonderful that throughout Britain and Ireland the RNLI crew members volunteer their services without fear or favour.

On course to be a volunteer, had a great day! Army and Navy rep's on site to celebrate D-day. After living in a fishing village the RNLI saved a canny few of my friends. Hold's a special place in my heart, sadly some are no longer with us. Worthy cause reliant on donations x
