Were extremely professional and helpful in getting me a gas delivery at short notice when a tenants old heating system failed. My contact with Julia was extremely positive throughout with her finding solutions to issues other Calor dealers were not not interested in resolving and I would recommend this organisation for the supply of Calor. Called and placed an order with them yesterday and got a delivery for the next day. Missed the delivery (my fault) and called Dixons to see what my options are. Very happy with the people on the phone, very helpful and for the first time buying a gas bottle they made me feel at ease. Can't argue at the price either. *****

Ooo lots to write here so a long review! This is a local firm and I always try to support them when I can. Located in Westerhope which is just off the busy A1 (Western Bypass). The huge site is within residential areas but is easily spotted by the large white storage tanks rising vertically. The entrance road is small and easily missed. That entrance road is also one way so be warned. They've a fair amount of customer parking near the business door but also some overspill around the rear as you exit. They sell gas. All types of gas from fuel gas (propane etc) and all the way to gas that doesn't burn (shielding gas). Bottles are often sold as rentals and at very competitive prices. They will not underfill - that's a hint! Dixons are a stockist for Hobbyweld too. This means they sell shielding gases, welders, consumables for welders and so on. The website for Dixons had a Hobbyweld section but it does not list everything they sell at Westerhope - call in because it's far easier. Staff are plentiful, busy but will always have time for you - that's a very good plus in my eyes! Everyone is friendly so don't worry - a genuine North East welcome will be had! They dealt with me professionally and were able to answer any questions I had. Their attitude saw me spending a fair amount of money (investing in a full new welding set up at home) because of their great work ethic. It's easy to see why they're doing well at this business. Remember though - their entrance can be tricky to spot.
