Very slow through customs, maybe whilst all this extra paperwork is requied a few more staff would help. Once again ripped off for 3 quid for a 30 second pickup. Otherwise all good.

Sadly I wasn't jetting off anywhere and only called in to kill some time before my bus came. I had hoped to sit and have a coffee but the landside coffee shops were all closed up. I did manage to get a takeaway coffee at Greggs who were also offering a limited assortment of sandwiches etc. I noticed WH Smith was also shuttered up. Limited flights are operating from Newcastle but in these uncertain times it did seem a bit surreal.

Fantastic. Helpful staff in the face of all the difficulties we are all facing. Clean and safe. One of the best airports I have encountered as far as polite friendly and helpful staff are concerned.

Always happy to come here ready to depart for sunnier skies and explore the world. Lots to do while waiting to leave which includes a compulsory drink at whatever time of day.
