Always has more birdlife here than you think. I am always surprised whenever I go. Even when there is less birds here, there are many more than you will find in RSPB Strumpshaw Fen. It is well worth the walk if you go as far as the water tower. Best time of the year to go (for maximum number of birds) is during the breeding season (April to June). Wear suitable footwear for walking.

Lovely place to walk around and spend time with nature. The scenery is quite flat, which means that even from ground level, there's plenty of good views all around. There is a very remote and un-spoilt feel to this place, which makes it great!

At this time of year the scrape and hide at Buckenham give you a good chance of seeing rare migrant waders on migration, if visiting strumpshaw fen well worth the the walk along low road to have a look.
