Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is delicious! The service is great! The ambience is great. We recently had a big family brunch here after speaking to the owner (who is crazy nice). They accommodated for 4 kids and 10 adults. He was so nice because we were all worried about covid and allowed us to have a private event outdoors just for us. Cannot wait to go back again for my date nights. I always have the dry aged steak w/frites and husband gets the mussels.

Before I start by telling you how amazing all the dishes were, I want to start by telling you how above and beyond the service was. I hope you are lucky enough to meet Theresa. She was able to find outdoor seating for me and my elderly parents on a busy Saturday. She noticed we were waiting and she cared. Right as another person left she immediately prepared a table for us. The entire staff made us feel welcomed. The Waffles are the best you'll ever have. They are so fluffy and flavorful. Real homemade caramel and pecan brittle. You can get Belgian Chocolate too. You have to try the Saussice which is a sandwich that has beer braided sausage and sauted onions. Then there is the Quiche Du Jour with melt in your mouth egg, swiss and ham. Top it off with some Pomegranate Champaign. Flavorful food and caring service...you have to come.

This is my first review I have ever written because I am truly upset. I called ahead and made a reservation for 4. When we arrived at the restaurant there was a group of 6 people. The waitress asked if they called and they said yes and she seated them without checking. When it was our turn to check in, the waitress said she had to check our reservation. She went inside and then the manager came out to verify who we were and what time our reservation was for.He then seated us and told us our waiter was coming. About 10 minutes had passed for our “waiter” to come out. It was an African American man wearing an apron and smelled just like a kitchen. He was not dressed like the other wait staff that was working the outdoor dining. He was clearly a chef or at the very least a sous chef from the back of house. You could tell that serving was not something he was used to doing. He had no idea where the menus were or even how many of us were at the table. When he finally did find menus it took him another 10 minutes to get back to us. Mind you at this point the couple that was behind us who had no reservation and was seated 10 minutes after us already had a bottle of wine and their order placed. There was a waiter and a waitress going around tables checking in with everyone else but the “colored family”. Our waiter did not serve any other table. At that point we knew that we were not welcomed there and our money was not needed. I am disappointed and disgusted that in 2020 during a pandemic where businesses are struggling, that we would be treated so poorly because of the color of our skin. We were just trying to support a small business and get a taste of Belgium. I hope no one else will have the same experience as us. P.S. To the man that wait on us: Thank you for coming out to serve us. We appreciate you and did not walk out because of you.
