Free jazz. I mean come on. Free jazz in Paris with a DJ scratching along, singers, affordable drinks at the bar. The vibe is very local and welcoming. Good place to meet fellow music lovers. Funky area with street art around.

Superb bar, there was poil o’brass band playing on the night I visited and the atmosphere was exhilarating, must visit place.
I saw a great concert there. The ambience is very relaxed. Interesting organization with the bar in front and the concert stage with audience space hidden in the back.
Interesting bar in a quieter region of Bastille. Small selection of beers, but good selection of live music :) I was there for a concert of Brazilian music and had a blast. They could add a few more toilets ... There's always a big line to go pee !
Bar with cool live music atmosphere
Just a few metres from Bastille subway station, Les Disquaires is a very nice place to hear some Caribbean, Brazilian or even Jazz live music. Pints have a fair price (6-8 euros) knowing that entrance is free. Decoration is simple and it is composed of two separate rooms : one lounge with bar and a second one where the band plays. It is open until 5h Fridays and Saturdays also! Being a good choice after taking a tour at the many bars at Rue de Lappe.
Funk bands on Friday evenings: it's amazing. Punchy music, people dance and drink quality Belgium beer till two. Definite recommend.
