Staff very friendly. Food excellent - and a good variety. Plenty for vegetarians. Lovely to sit and watch the birds and squirrels feeding on the platform by the window. The shop has some beautiful food products from near (local) and far!! Lovely to give as gifts. Toilets adequate - kept clean.

Lovely cafe from where you can watch a large number of woodland birds (and squirrels). The food is excellent too, with a good range of veggie foods. The shop is small but sells great produce. I managed to find some bilberries after searching for months!

Love the cafe, food is always good and the staff are friendly. Parking is sometimes tricky around lunchtime but only because the place is so popular. If you're lucky enough to get a window seat there is a great view of the birds!

There is a cafe here that has a huge bird table just outside the window & it is a very busy table with several different bird species visiting. We have been here several times & have been lucky enough to see a bullfinch, red spotted woodpecker & tree creeper in occasion. There are pictures up if the birds that visit & books available to check out different species if you're unsure. The food is excellent & the deli is also very appealing. A firm favourite.

Amazing absolutely amazing! Good coffee home made delicious cakes. Please is well hidden as for a Cafe as it is part of a small gardening and local products shop, but if you walk in there is stunning view on the river and hills and they have birdhouses hanging in front of the window so you can have a tea and watch all sorts of birds and squirrels hanging around.

Great for bird watching (if you like that sort of thing) but I'm more the \food\ watching kind of guy. Nice little cafe with some brilliant cakes and a nice selection of teas. Does get busy though as it's only a small place. Shop next door (well actually it's part of it I guess) is great. Lots of items you just don't get in supermarkets. Proper little country shop.
