U.S. Vets is awesome! The purpose for my visit was to find out if they provided move-in assistance. Quite surprisingly, the first instruction they gave me was that if I spent even 1.00 for apt/house application, deposit, or anything then they would not be able to sponsor my move. Check! Great! Secondly, as I proceeded thru the steps U.S. Vets had outlined for me, they were eager to answer any & all questions I came across, and then some! After all was said and done (or so I thought) - e.g. the application made, the deposits given, the first month's rent paid, the pre-move-in inspection performed - they still wanted to talk more! Why? Another surprise! U.S. Vets even went the extra mile and completely furnished my new apartment - bed, table & chairs, dishes, microwave, and even an old television w/ rabbit ears (it works great!). Thanks U.S. Vets!

This organization and the Staff there really go out of the way to actually HONOR the Veterans and assist in streamlining the Veterans needs! The Program works, and I'm positive proof that it does. It won't be easy, but you have a complete Organization that will STAND by you, and plow the field! Their motto is: \Serving those who served.\ Trust me, its the truth, not just a bunch of words. From the Executive Director Michelle Jameson, to everyone involved both in-house or the field, they all take a personal interest in the positive transitioning of the Veteran. Personal thanks to all!!

This organization has helped me in the past. If it wasn’t for their help and expertise I would have been homeless and they’re helping me again during my hardship with fighting bladder cancer. These people are awesome!!
