An iconic beach Golden sand, views over Poole bay and impressive vista including bournemouth to one side and the Purbeck hills and old Harry rocks to the other. Parking here is a nightmare in summer and the local mafia council charge all year including winter particularly for expensive parking. Bit unfair on locals All the same very beautiful and worth a visit, please respect the area and leave nothing but footprints

Best beach in Bournemouth. Great views, lovely sandy beach with good facilities. Had a nice family walk along the beach and a game of volleyball in the court set up down there. With a delicious ice cream on the way back.
Beautiful day at Sandbanks. Tide came in and the wind encourage the ‘para-surfers’ (correct term?) to get out on the water.
Lovely beach and a great place to watch the sunrise! Also a great place to book water activities too! Good for families, groups or friends or just on your own. Has a cafe and ice cream shop nearby too and not a far walk from the car park
If you go during lock down (if it's close enough) make sure you go earlier or later in the day to avoid the busier periods. Its a nice place to enjoy the outdoor beauty of the south coast line. And the chip counter is open during the day too
