Nice small airport, for fast travel.
Airport is very small, after security check there is only one ridiculously small shop/cafe. And even then it's overpriced, not like a duty free at all. If you wish to buy some souvenirs keep in mind to buy it before heading to the airport.
I fly from Bratislava, Kosice and Poprad, Poprad is definitely the nicest of these airports by long way, small which is great!(its pretty much the same as taking a bus, 30 minutes before close gate is more than enough. Stuff is very friendly from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave! And at last the scenery of beautiful Tatras :)
It costs about 4-5 euros to town. There is a taxi stand near bus station which is near to train station. It is possible to walk as well, airport is very close to town.
While I enjoyed the lack of crowd and fuss, there's one thing I should warn you about. The shop inside is neither \duty-free\, nor good. Extremely high prices (yeah, where else are you gonna go?), low choice. If you wanna bring some local stuff like Tatra tea, or just like to grab an occasional whisky bottle, do it wherever you're staying.
Excellent airport which really shows everything about my home area. I don't mind it being small.... The lounge was free xdddd
