The Sewing Studio has been fantastic. During lockdown I have ordered practically all my supplies from them, and find myself going back to them time after time. The website is easy to navigate, but the staff are great too. I had a problem with an order recently and it was resolved immediately. I also used the chat line to ask about a sewing machine, again friendly and helpful. I live far away but when I visit my son who lives near by, I cannot wait to visit the store. Well done all at Sewing Studio it's a pleasure shopping there.

I bought this gorgeous Tula Pink fabric from these guys online. The price was great, lower than I could find it anywhere else and the delivery was really quick! Now I’ve realised they’re local to me, I’m definitely going to have to visit the actual shop!

I cannot praise this company enough. They are so helpful.I live on the Isle of Skye where there are no shops nearby to satisfy my quilting, patchwork and dressmaking needs. Thus, my usual ‘go to’ is online and usually The Sewing Studio. I love the emails with lots of lovely fabric selections (which are far too tempting)! Postage is always very prompt. This week, after years of dreaming and saving, I finally purchased my dream Bernina sewing machine. I placed the order on Monday morning and by early Wednesday I had received my new sewing machine which had travelled several hundred miles. There was no charge for delivery. When I ordered the machine, the ladies that I spoke to were so helpful. I can’t wait until we are able to travel down to Cornwall in our campervan and pay the shop a visit in real life. Thank you to everyone at The Sewing Studio for brilliant service, always great quality, being 100% trustworthy and for helping to keep me sane and creative during lockdown.

I am very disappointed. When buying the machine, the staff was lovely. I bought very expensive brother F420 during lock-down as I needed reliable machine for making face masks. I received a machine with faulty thread cutter (one of the reason I wanted more expensive machine) (not shop fault as this was shipped direct from Brother). I was asked to send it direct to Brother for repair which I did (reluctantly as this meant being without the machine for a week when I was extremely busy). It came back with also faulty threader and cutter stopped working within a day. I requested refund as I was not happy to go through repair route again and I had to buy another replacement machine to keep business going and providing the service. Nor Brother or the Sewing Studio were willing to refund the machine that came faulty and I do not understand why I should be taking this on the chin. I am not left with twice repaired machine and to be honest I hate it. I would not recommend buying this machine, I do not trust Brother as a brand and I would not recommend buying machine from local shop as this does not make any difference from buying online from cheaper retailer. I was trying to support local business but I see there is no point as I did not get support I expected. Not only refund was refused but I had to organise whole repair myself. So thats 600 down the drain

Really impressed with the service from The Sewing Studio and would highly recommend. I was buying a new sewing machine and found their website really helpful, check out the machine features list as it really helps you narrow down your choice. I then spoke to the shop and had a friendly and really helpful chat with Anna (thank you) and was able to come to a decision. Anna gave lots of info based on the right machine for me and my use, she was very knowledgeable. They dispatched my new machine the following morning and it arrived the day after, carefully delivered by courier. Thank you for an excellent service.
