Well they do say clocks run differently in Italy but that much. We spent 8 mins on the parking lot. 10 mins were free (or is it 20? Who knows)... the parking Automat says 11 mins instead of 8. that one minute more is 3,5. Very interesting.

I think Toolkien was inspired to write Lord of the Ring here. San Marino has 3 towers in the sign, and fields down of it looks like Hobbits Share. The neo-Gothic style refers to knightly sagas. Also San Marino was the first republic in the world and there is freedom. Giuseppe Garibaldi united Italy from here and broke it out of the influence and wars with Austria - Hungary and France. All this and the beauty around, had to inspire his artistic soul. Same as our - is it? Blessed day

Very quiet airport in the middle of September. Upon arrival you can buy an aerobus ticket in to Rimini that stops by the train station for 1.5euro from the cafe to the left of where you leave the customs area. It's the no.9 bus. The bus stop is within sight of the cafe. A coffee was only 2euro and upon departure there was a seating area outside in the shade overlooking the runway.

Small airport nearby to Rimini, Riccione and San Marino. Not a lot of shops, but I always think that an airport is to take a flight. Passport control and security check have always been a breeze for me. In 15 minutes you can be in the international departure area. When arriving, in the same time you can be out of the airport. There is the bus 9 that goes to Rimini center or Riccione (you can buy a ticket using the MyCicero app or at the cafe). Parking is very expensive in the Airport... only 10 minutes free. I hope they will increase the number of flights.
