The beauty of Basilica and his rich history leaves no one indifferent. The exterior view of Basilica is breathtaking. The Basilica was built at the time of Emperor Constantine at the site of the historical tomb of St. Paul. In front of Basilica is a beautiful garden with a statue of St. Paul. One of the three entrance doors is the bronze, the so-called Holy Door. The interior of the basilica is magnificent, huge and beautifully decorated. The ceiling is in the Renaissance style decorated with white and gold colors, and the floor is of reflective marble. The whole interior is so beautiful that we have to admire people who have designed and built it. Between the windows and pillars there is a long row of mosaic medallions with portraits of the pope, from St. Peter to Pope Francis. Below the papal altar are preserved the relics of St. Paul. It is imperative to visit this Basilica.

I love visiting this place! It is HUGE and easy to access. I love that in the inside you can see a picture of every single Pope since Peter. You should visit and you can ask see where Paul is buried. Highly recommend! There is the church, a convent museum, ruins site, a bar, etc.
