The food was delicious and you could taste that really fresh ingredients are used. Didn't have such good Asian food in a long time! Delivery was very fast. 5/5, will order here again.
My wife and I visited this place during our Italy trip as it was on the Michelin guide. Full disclosure, we are of Chinese decent, and we dined at this restaurant for diner. We noticed that the service here was very inconsistent. Our server forgot to bring us the menu, and did not offer to take our coat. The tables which came behind us got their coat taken, and were even offered complementary Prosecco and some type of finger food which we were not happy about. In total we ended up ordering 2 appetizers and 4 dishes which seemed to be the right amount of food. When the food came, the server did not know the names of the dishes and needed to be corrected by another server. Also, the server kept asking if we were done our food, and it was quite annoying. The food was okay for Chinese food, and you can tell they tried to be very creative which we appreciated. Overall we thought the food was quite average (at the price point), and our main complaint is with the subpar service.
Worst Michelin star hosting I’ve ever experienced. The host wouldn’t let us sit in the more aesthetically pleasing dining area because we didn’t have a reservation, stating people with reservations would be coming. The place was empty, NO ONE was there but me and my husband and no one came the ENTIRE time we were there. There was adequate seating both upstairs and downstairs. We were sat in the small less pleasing entrance seating, while she sat at a nearby table taking with a friend the entire time. She even left the restaurant and came back with a gift to give this friend. When I was asking about the menu she was sarcastic and smug, responding as if my question was common sense. I had a specific question about the ingredients which she disregarded. I’m use to professional host who can share details about how a meal is prepared not put down the customer and be rude. Because of this poor assistance and communication my vegetarian husband ended up with a meal with shrimp. No one check on the table the entire time, we had to call out to get the bill. Horrible waiting and hosting. I’m unsure if they treat black customers differently from other customers, but I couldn’t even enjoy the food after this poor experience marked by unprofessionalism.
