Perfect dinner after a busy day and busy weekend in Rome. Delicious food and a good choice of Italian dishes at very affordable prices. Good choice of wines and amazing deserts. Add a nice atmosphere and amazing service on top of it and you got yourself the perfect Italian restaurant. I definitely mark it as my favorite in Rome so far. It’s worth trying! Make sure you make a reservation or show up before 21:00 (when locals usually come for dinner).

Highly recommended! Great food and drinks, good prices. Worth checking out in Rome (confirmed by Romans themselves). P. S. Thanks to Azzurra and Sara for making this experience even better :)

Great food, reasonable prices, good service. Location also very good. We were assisted by Kevin who was very attentive and had a great personality. I had the butter and sage ravioli which was fantastic and my husband had lasagne - also great. The tiramisu servings are very generous. Will definitely head back there the next time we're in Rome.

On our trip to Italy post-COVID we ate at many mostly empty restaurants (with fantastic food) and I was missing the atmosphere of a buzzing restaurant - so we decided to try Otello because it was completely full, with a queue outside the door. The service was quick, and overall the food was very good- particularly the lamb. The cacio e pepe was just ok- not as tangy and sharp as what we had elsewhere. Overall, the experience was good but not significantly better than any of the empty places we went- I’m not sure why it is so popular.

If you are still thinking - book the table and go! This was such a lovely evening: atmosphere, team working in restaurant, delicious food ! Ask Claudia, real professional if she can be your waitress during the evening
