I was ringing today to see if my asthma records were still on the system as last time I rang at the start of the pandemic to request a stronger eczema cream they were not. The person who answered the phone was laughing down the phone and said 'hi welcome to Ilex...oh sorry one second' then continued laughing away, put me back on hold and a minute later answered the phone and took my details etc and confirmed they were on record which I'm sure they probably aren't. I appreciate times are weird at the moment and laughing is not something we do but leave me on hold for a few more minutes before answered the phone then? It's a professional place of work and my issue could have been serious if I was elderly or vunerable I could have felt panicked or worried. It's not a call centre for people to answer the phone laughing down the phone, treat it professionally.

I appreciate that times are tough, but some of the processes in place are laughable. After waiting to speak to somebody I was told I would receive a call instead of in person visit - fair enough. However, I work and missed the two calls; again, can't be helped. I then waited to be rearrange only to be told I had to phone at 8 the next morning - even though it is a telephone referral and simply requires them telling the practitioner to put me back on the call list. This is not the fault of the person I spoke to - she was apologetic and understood the process was a joke.

Got booked telephone consultation for today by 111, but never got a call back, so i rang back 111 and they got me another one for 2 hours later and again didnt get call back from them. Now i will have to wait 3 days to hear back from them which is awful, you guys used to be good what has happened, other centres are handling everything well why can't you. Update they missed the third booking on monday booked again, this time nhs 111 service confirmed everything on their side is fine. After investigation, the medical practice has left theirself open to bookings on saturday when they are not open on saturday, sort it out i will be putting a complaint through

Lovely GP surgery, all the staff are friendly and helpful. GPs and practice nurses are knowledgeable and thorough. Highly reccomend

Over the last several months this practice has gone down hill not considering people’s conditions and how it effects them i as a patient don’t trust there service so much so I rather treat myself and my family as I do a better job
