Being a tourist I was definitely wasn't allowed inside. But the bank looked more like monastery than a bank. It was indeed a different experience to see the central bank of a country with such colourful exteriors. Definitely was worth the walk in the beautiful town of Thimphu.

Went to exchange Indian Currency (IC) and saw lots of other customers. But the exchange counters are not managed properly, with all rushing at the counter. Need to have proper token system and proper information desimination system...maybe a TV screen.
