Fantastic little store packed with authentic culinary (great miso selection) and other whimsical items. Wonderfully friendly customer service staff too! So glad I discovered it on line...will definitely return!!! Avoid Sat afternoon if you are trying to stay away from crowds!!!

First time going to Minnano and my kid was super happy, my wallet not so much We were greeted by who I assume was the owner. She welcomed us in, speaking to us in Japanese and English and asked if we needed help or had any questions she was available to answer any. We walked around the store, putting snacks, toys and soups into our Sanitized yellow basket. As we checked out, the very kind woman packed our things, separated by Knick knacks and food. She thanked us in Japanese as we walked away and we could not have been any happier. Thank you for making our day, my daughter was super happy, she loved the compliments given to her by the Owner. We felt very welcomed and I will be glad to come back and spend more money

Really good products. Such a nice and well kept store. Very friendly staff as well as helpful. Found items that i can't find other places. Just wish that it can be larger. The store is relatively small,but packed with quite a lot of stuff.

Love this place, been going here for years. PROS: Wonderful customer service, polite employees, and beautiful products to buy. CONS: Eh, if you know a little or lot of Japanese, you'll sometimes overhear these sweet faced employees talking about you. Even if it's something small or unimportant, it can matter alot to the person if they understand. Nonetheless, they're very kind. Second, social distancing and limiting the amount of customers in the store lacks. Which is against health policy during these times. This can be reported to the City of San Antonio.
